Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 2026
Welcome to The Physiotherapy Massage Clinic. These Terms and Conditions apply to the treatments and services provided by The Physiotherapy Massage Clinic ("we", "us" or "our"). By booking an appointment or receiving treatment, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully, and get in touch if you have any questions.
1. Our Services
We offer Sports Massage, Swedish Massage and Dry Cupping. All treatments are delivered by a HCPC and MCSP registered Physiotherapist and are tailored to your needs, goals and comfort. Details of each treatment are available on our website.
2. Booking Appointments
- How to book: appointments can be arranged by contacting us by email or Instagram using the details below. Your booking is confirmed once we have replied to you.
- Opening hours: Monday to Sunday, 9am to 7pm.
- Session length: treatment times currently available are 60 minutes per session.
- First appointment: please allow a few extra minutes so we can discuss your needs and confirm that your chosen treatment is appropriate for you.
3. Changes, Cancellations and Late Arrival
- Changes and cancellations: if you need to change or cancel your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can offer the time to another client. Where an appointment is cancelled at very short notice or is missed without notice, we reserve the right to charge for the reserved time.
- Late arrival: please arrive on time. If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened so that later appointments are not affected.
4. Health, Suitability and Consent
- Telling us about your health: please tell us about any medical conditions, medication, pregnancy, recent surgery or procedures, injuries or other information that may affect your suitability for treatment, before your appointment and at the start of your session.
- Consultation and consent: each session begins with a discussion of your needs. We will explain what the treatment involves, and you can ask questions, ask us to adjust anything or stop at any time.
- Right to decline or stop: we may decline, postpone or stop a treatment if we believe it is not suitable or not safe for you.
- Dry cupping: cupping commonly leaves temporary circular marks or discolouration on the skin. These vary from person to person and are discussed with you before treatment.
- Not medical care: massage and dry cupping are not a substitute for medical assessment or treatment where this is required. If you experience a new, severe or unexplained symptom, please seek appropriate medical advice.
5. Prices and Payment
- Prices: Sports Massage and Swedish Massage are £40 per 60-minute session. Dry Cupping is combined with the massage. Current prices are shown on our website and confirmed when you book.
- Payment: payment is due at the end of your session. Please ask us about accepted payment methods when you book.
- Price changes: prices may change from time to time, but any change will not affect appointments that have already been confirmed.
6. Refunds and Complaints
- Refunds: refunds are not usually given for treatments that have taken place, except where required by consumer law.
- Complaints: if you are unhappy with any part of your experience, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can look into it promptly and fairly.
7. Client Conduct
We aim to provide a professional, welcoming and comfortable environment for everyone. We may end a session immediately and refuse future bookings if behaviour is inappropriate, abusive or makes the therapist feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
8. Privacy
We look after your personal and health information as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill, but the effects of treatment vary from person to person and we cannot guarantee particular results. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to this, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. If you have concerns about whether treatment is suitable for you, we recommend speaking to your GP or another healthcare professional before booking.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any rights you have as a consumer.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top. The version in place when you book will apply to that booking.
